Dear Friend,
How will you score on your knowledge of drug laws? A lot is changing for the better, thanks to the work of Drug Policy Alliance supporters like you.
Recently, Oregon became the first state to decriminalize all drugs. Marijuana became legal in four new states. And the U.S. House passed the MORE Act, legislation descheduling marijuana and centering reparative justice.
But we’ve got a lot of work to do. That’s why we recently released Uprooting the Drug War. It’s a series of reports and related materials on the widespread impacts of drug war punishment. The drug war is more than just drug arrests and incarceration. It is so deeply entrenched in our culture and systems that it criminalizes people in countless ways on a day-to-day basis. This series of reports is a call to action for all of us to work to uproot the drug war from every aspect of our lives. You’ll learn more, (or see how much you already know), when you take our quiz.
Before you go, please consider making your first donation today to help DPA continue to fight for just, compassionate drug policies you believe in.
Together, we’ll fight harder in 2021!
