🎉Let’s celebrate! If you haven't heard, Representatives Barbara Lee (D-CA) and Mark Pocan (D-WI) have started the new Defense Spending Reduction Caucus in Congress! 



Ask your representative to join the new Congressional Defense Spending Reduction Caucus <[link removed]>so we can continue to convince our representatives of the urgent need to cut the Pentagon budget and invest in human needs.



In 2020, Representatives Barbara Lee and Mark Pocan introduced historic legislation to cut the Pentagon budget by $74 billion (10%). A record 116 members of Congress voted to reduce the Pentagon budget and as a result, Representatives Barbara Lee and Mark Pocan launched the Defense Spending Reduction Caucus. We need to continue to build support to reduce the Pentagon budget and invest in what really makes us safe: Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, housing for all, full employment, great public education, and much more.  Contact your representative and ask them to join the Defense Spending Reduction Caucus! <[link removed]>
