When the Senate acquitted Donald Trump, they opened up the possibility of him running for public office again.
However, there is a little-known option Democrats can pursue to ensure Donald Trump is barred from office for good.
Section 3 of the 14th Amendment says: “No person shall … hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath … to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same.”
In your opinion:
Should Democrats invoke Section 3 to bar Trump from running for office?
