It seemed like every hour this week another news story broke that demonstrated exactly why we need to not only defeat President Trump, but take back the Senate from Mitch McConnell in 2020.
With a Democratic Senate, we’ll finally overcome the corruption and obstruction that are hallmarks of the Trump Administration and the Republican Party. But if we come up short, our hands will be tied while the GOP endangers our democracy and threatens our future.
I can promise you this—this won’t be the last week when President Trump’s corrupt behavior tests our institutions or undermines our values.
But if we keep on track with our goals, victory is within our reach next year. We can take back the White House and elect a Democratic Senate majority, but we can only do it if we stand together and show Republicans that we’re ready for the fight of our lives.
