As you probably know, communities in Texas have been hard hit by recent
winter storms, as freezing temperatures have caused burst pipes,
blackouts, and lack of heat.

Last week, Ayanna asked if you could chip in to support organizations in
Texas working to get critical resources to people across the state.



[ [link removed] ]Today, we’re reaching out again to ask if you will make a contribution
to the Texas Jail Project, an organization helping people who are
incarcerated in Texas cope in the aftermath of the storms.

According to the Marshall Project, people who are incarcerated in Texas
have been living in horrendous conditions: with no heat, limited water,
not enough blankets to go around, and cold food. If you’re able, 100% of
your donation in response to this email will go to the Texas Jail Project
to help cover the cost of phone calls, commissary items, and other
resources.

$3 to the Texas Jail Project to help people behind the wall
get the resources they need to survive.
