Rep. Katie Hill here, TJ’s fellow Member of Congress from California.

TJ and I were both a part of the ‘Blue Wave’ that flipped 7 House seats in our state and helped Democrats retake the majority in Congress.

I’m writing today because TJ’s race is heating up fast. His 2018 opponent recently announced his rematch campaign against TJ, and that instantly turned the race into one of the most competitive in the entire country. It’s truly all hands on deck.

TJ has a fundraising deadline on September 30th, and it’s going to be an uphill climb to outraise his opponent, who takes corporate money (unlike TJ). But if enough of us come together over the next few days, I know he can close this quarter stronger. So I’ve got to ask:

Can you chip in $3 before this deadline to make sure TJ has the resources to keep this seat?

When we flipped California’s competitive seats from red to blue in 2018, we did so because we had a lot of supporters who were willing to stand up for our progressive values.

And we need that same energy in 2020. Before this big deadline, can you rush in a donation of $3?
