Rep. Deb Haaland could be the first Native American to serve as a Cabinet secretary -- but the GOP is already trying to tear the courageous New Mexico climate leader down.

Haaland “is encountering more resistance than Biden's other environmental picks,” according to The Washington Post.

The GOP doesn't want Haaland to make history. Instead, with her confirmation hearing tomorrow fast approaching, they're determined to smear her as a “radical” and “threat” in an attempt to appease their oil and gas industry donors -- not to mention their racist supporters who don't want to see a Native American woman in power.

With Haaland as Secretary of the Interior, our government would not only accomplish a historic first, but also help remedy historic injustices done to Native Americans. We don't want Haaland's confirmation to be stalled any longer, so we're asking supporters like you:
