People have been working harder than ever — either around the clock at home or with the added health risk in public places. Corporate profits are at record highs but even in a pandemic we are unwilling to pay workers a living wage.

Amazon, a corporation that made $125 billion last quarter, can afford to pay and treat its workers fairly — instead, they are actively trying to prevent unions from forming.

The only thing stopping working Americans from earning a living wage is corporate greed, not actual economics.

There is no excuse. We must stand with essential workers and the working class.
