We’ve failed our children for too long.
When COVID-19 lockdowns started last March, government officials shut down our schools and said that it would only take two weeks to stop the spread and re-open.
Then two weeks turned into six months.
Six months turned into nine months.
Now, it’s been nearly a whole year since our country has been shut down – and government officials are STILL saying it’s too dangerous for kids to go back to school.

For months, all of the science and data has been clear…
The health risks for children associated with in-person learning are minimal.
More than just the educational, social, and emotional damage that millions of ordinary students have had to deal with. . .
. . . these lockdowns have indiscriminately denied special needs students, students who are learning English as a second language, and low-income students the equal opportunity to learn.
It’s time to end this discrimination and re-open schools once and for all.
Texas has always set the standard for common-sense action in America.
That’s why we’re collecting the names of every Texan and American who wants to send our children back to school so that our school board members and local elected officials will finally wake up and do what is right.
Once we’re successful here in Texas, the rest of the country will follow.
