Last week, the Equality Act was introduced in the House. This week, it will be introduced in the Senate. While the House vote is likely to happen this week--and swiftly--there will no doubt be a battle on the Senate side, where we need 60 votes to pass this bill so that President Biden can sign comprehensive anti-discrimination policies into law. Take action now, and ask your legislators to please vote YES on the Equality Act! We need your Representative and both of your Senators to vote in support of this legislation, which is so critical for our LGBTQ+ loved ones, and which will also strengthen protections for women, people of color, and people with disabilities.
