Last week, millions of Texans braved an unprecedented winter storm that left them without power and water. Now that the weather is easing up, many Texans are still facing long term consequences. Especially those in minority and LGBTQ communities.
If you feel inclined, below is a list of organizations you can support who are working to provide relief to Texans and LGBTQ Texans:
Austin:
-- The Austin Area Urban League (AAUL) is accepting donations to offer emergency support for shelter, food, water here.
-- Front Steps, an Austin-based nonprofit fighting homelessness, is accepting donations here.

Dallas-Fort Worth Metropolitan Area:
