Sorry to be so blunt, but I’m getting a little worried about reaching our end-of-month deadline. Fundraising has been pretty slow lately and this is only our second monthly goal since I was sworn into the Senate, so it’s a big deal.
You see, I’m the new kid on the block around here. Folks will be paying attention to our fundraising numbers and looking to see how strong this grassroots team really is. With our fragile 50-50 Senate majority, we cannot afford to look weak right now.
