As deadly winter storms devastated our country, Rep. Pramila Jayapal issued a necessary wake up call to Congress: “The cost of inaction is far greater than the cost of bold climate action.”

For decades, Big Oil and Big Gas have spent billions to mislead the public and fund climate change deniers -- and they've found a home within the GOP. Republicans have promoted an anti-science agenda to fund their campaigns, claiming that climate change is a “hoax” while millions of everyday Americans suffer the consequences.

But now is the time to act, John.

With Democrats in control of Washington, we finally have a chance to take bold climate action and create a safer country for future generations. But we don't want this issue to be swept under the rug to appease GOP opposition -- we can't afford to compromise on this.
