John, It's clear from these headlines that the Left is still mad. Liberals and the mainstream media are coming after me with everything they've got just because I spoke out against President Trump's second impeachment trial. For the good of the country, I hope we never hold another impeachment trial against a former president, which I believe is unconstitutional. CNN called my opinions "appalling." I was "skewered" by Saturday Night Live. And South Carolina Democrats accused me of abdicating my constitutional duty. I will always stand up for what I believe, even when it's not popular. I know you've always been by my side when it matters most. When my Democrat opponent raised an eye-popping $132 million to defeat me, you had my back. When protesters broke a window at my house and hounded me at the airport during the hearings for Justice Amy Coney Barrett, you stood with me.
