Friends, here are three things we need you to know right now.

1. We expect universal background checks to be reintroduced in the House next month. We expect that it’ll quickly pass and go to the Senate.

2. Background checks passed the House in 2019 but Mitch McConnell stopped us from passing the legislation in the Senate.

3. We need to hit 15,000 donations this month so we have the resources to pass universal background checks while we have this chance.

So we are asking you:

If we hit 15,000 donations this month, we can urge legislators to pass universal background checks in both the House and Senate so that President Biden can sign it into law.
