John –
Since taking office, President Biden has taken some big steps to
reverse some of the harmful policies enacted by the previous
administration, but there is so much more that needs to be
done.
For the past year, low-wage workers, immigrants, Black, Latinx,
Indigenous, AAPI and LGBTQ communities have borne the brunt of the
pandemic, on top of the systemic inequalities they already face.
That’s why we’re calling on Biden to take immediate, meaningful action
to ensure people can access abortion care, because we know that
abortion isn’t just a reproductive health issue – it’s an economic,
racial and immigrant justice issue as well. John, can you send a postcard to President
Biden to tell him to prioritize abortion justice?

No one should be denied abortion coverage because of where they
live, how much money they earn, or how they get their health insurance
– and anyone who is seeking abortion care should be able to receive
their prescribed medication abortion in the way that makes the most
sense for them. Massive barriers to abortion care—like the Hyde
Amendment and medically unnecssary restrictions on medication abortion
care—are exacerbated by systemic racism, economic insecurity, and
immigration status. Our communities deserve abortion justice
now.
John, send a postcard to President
Biden and urge him to lift medically unnecessary restrictions on
medication abortion and write a budget without Hyde or abortion
coverage bans.
Thanks for all you do,
Morgan Hopkins, Director of Political Strategies All* Above
