I made a promise to Orange County to cosponsor the Equality Act as soon as I got to office. That's what I did. Let's make sure my opponent does the same.

Hi -- I just wanted to drop you a note because the Equality Act was just reintroduced, and I wanted to give you a bit of context on the act.

When I was first elected to office, I made a promise to cosponsor the Equality Act as soon as I was sworn in. And, that's exactly what I did because now more than every we must rid our country of all discrimination.

My opponent, on the other hand, hasn't shied away from hatefully homophobic statements and views, including joking about withdrawing her daughter from college for even just asking about gay marriage

We need to send a strong message: add your name to show you support the Equality Act >>

Thanks for being with us,

Harley Rouda served California's 48th district in Congress. In 2018, Harley defeated the 30-year incumbent Dana Rohrabacher in the very first political campaign of Harley's life. During his time in Congress, he's embraced common sense and values to tackle climate change, address deteriorating infrastructure, confront homelessness, and protect Social Security and Medicare. In 2022, Harley will be facing one of the toughest fights in the entire country, so he's depending on the support of grassroots individuals.
