The other day we wrote to you to ask you to join us in demanding that our DC elected officials take immediate, specific actions to ensure equity and effective protection of the poor and vulnerable in our community from the COVID-19 pandemic. This includes access to vaccinations as well as the highly disproportionate impacts of poverty (including housing) and systemic racism on the members of our DC community.

On March 15th we will be presenting a comprehensive list of demands to our local elected officials about a full range of issues, and we want them to be prepared by hearing from you, at the grassroots, loud and clear about how they are falling short in the COVID-19 crisis and what they can do about it.
