The confirmation process for the barrier-breaking Deb Haaland as Interior Secretary officially begins in the Senate tomorrow.

But the conservative and corporate backlash to the new administration has already started. Through the efforts of ourselves and our allies we helped give Joe Biden and Kamala Harris a decisive mandate to take swift and equitable executive and legislative action to protect communities and the environment — and now with Deb Haaland up for confirmation, it's time to keep the pressure up.
