In a sad but less than shocking report, Politico revealed that President Biden has already privately told governors that a $15 minimum wage isn’t happening.
John, there is no excuse for Joe Biden’s decision to abandon the Fight for $15. Period.
Polls consistently show that a bipartisan majority of Americans support a $15 minimum wage, and essential workers are expected to sacrifice so much while earning so little as the pandemic continues to rage.
Our Revolution was founded because we know we can’t count on all Democratic groups to stand up to Joe Biden when he betrays workers since a lot of them rely on big Biden donors.
He can and should keep his promise, but it’s on us to keep up the pressure.
