John — Raphael Warnock’s historic victory in Georgia last month delivered a pro-science Senate majority for Democrats. His defeat could very well hand that majority back to Mitch McConnell. Former GOP Sen. David Perdue just filed to challenge him: Rush in a triple-matched donation to help re-elect Raphael and defend our 50-50 Senate majority. We were proud to throw the full weight of our organization into winning the Georgia Senate runoffs but we’re relying on your help to replicate those successes:
FACT: Republicans in the Georgia state legislature are rushing forward with a slate of discriminatory bills designed to disenfranchise hundreds of thousands of likely Democratic voters.
FACT: Historically, the Party that holds the White House loses seats during the midterm elections. Joe Biden has already expressed concern to aides about a midterm “shellacking” that could cost Democrats the House and Senate next year.
FACT: David Perdue is entering the race with $5 million cash on hand and as a former CEO is capable of self funding. Meanwhile, Raphael disavowed corporate PACs and is counting on grassroots donations at a time when Democratic fundraising is plummeting.
