Since November 2020, over 200,000 people have signed the national petition calling on President Biden to stop the Line 3 pipeline, which directly threatens the lives and sovereignty of the Indigenous Anishinaabe peoples and would push our climate further into crisis.
The outpouring of public support for this critical fight is so inspiring that we’ve set an even higher goal of getting at least 300,000 petition signatures by February 24, the day before we deliver the signatures to the Biden Administration.
With your help, we can reach our goal in time for next week’s delivery. Will you sign our petition calling on President Biden to stop the Line 3 pipeline and help us reach our goal of 300,000 signatures?
Sign now →Since we’ve started the campaign to stop Line 3, our movement has only grown. Even former Vice President Al Gore tweeted his support to stop both the Line 3 AND the Dakota Access pipelines just last week!
Enbridge, the Canadian company building the Line 3 tar sands pipeline, has shown they will do anything to complete this project, including placing their own workers’ lives at risk. One worker tragically died on site last December, and earlier this month, another worker was rescued after being trapped underwater.1
From violating workplace safety mandates to violating treaty rights of the Anishinaabe peoples, it’s clear that this project is unethical and dangerous. It must be stopped.
We stopped the Keystone XL pipeline. With enough public pressure, we know we can stop Line 3 and Dakota Access.
With thanks,
Team 350
