Hi there,
At least 21 people have died as a result of the devastating winter storms sweeping across the South. Millions are still without electricity, heat, or water -- people have even reported that they're burning their remaining furniture in the fireplace just to have momentary warmth.
Our country is now observing "once in a lifetime" natural disasters every few months, and with the timeline of global warming expedited thanks to the GOP's refusal to act, these devastating disasters won't be stopping anytime soon.
We both know that our country's infrastructure is nowhere near prepared enough for the staggering increase in climate-related disasters, nor has our federal government laid down detailed plans to tackle our soon-to-be reality of constant resource shortages, power outages, extensive land destruction, and economic struggles.
This devastating winter storm is not the last of its kind, and as we transition to spring, new threats of wildfires and flooding are appearing on the horizon. We know that the majority of Americans believe in climate change, but the GOP is digging in its heels even more, making many people split on how the U.S. should approach it. We're polling our most engaged supporters to see where they stand. Please, let us know:
Do you want Democrats to take immediate climate change action?
