already been a whole month since Joe Biden's inauguration.

Since then Ro has been working in Congress to get COVID-19 relief to the
people, making sure Wall Street hedge funds are held to the same rules as
Main Street, holding members of Congress accountable for their part in
inciting violence on the Capitol, and so much more.

With a Democratic majority in the House, Senate, and White House, 2021
should be a year of passing meaningful legislation. But too many pundits
and special interest-friendly politicians are willing to ignore the
struggles of working families. We are going to have to work and fight to
pass laws like Medicare for All and a $15 minimum wage.

Yesterday, House Democrats unveiled a $1.9 million COVID-19 relief bill
that would include $1,400 checks for those making less than $75,000 a
year, extend unemployment benefits and provide more aid for small
businesses — and while this is progress, it’s far from enough. 

That’s why Ro is pushing in Congress for more relief, on top of all the
vital progressive issues that we have been fighting for years. But here’s
the thing: what we are able to accomplish this year depends on what
