According to POLITICO, “Republicans see room to capitalize on the grim public health and economic situation the White House inherited from Donald Trump by trying to put Democrats on the defense” when it comes to protecting children and families.

The GOP has made every effort to block Biden's COVID-19 relief package, yet Republicans have still been telling Americans that Democrats are to blame for the hits to our economy and children having to do school online.

Here's the truth: Democrats have been working around the clock to undo Trump's failed pandemic response. And Biden's American Rescue Plan includes “direct payments, funds for pandemic relief and money to safely reopen schools and fund local governments” that have a greater impact on the lives of everyday Americans.
