We've got a list of 15 senators -- 15 Republican men who voted to acquit Donald Trump of a crime he was clearly guilty of. 15 men who enabled fascism.
And 15 men who are up for re-election next year.
These are all Republicans elected statewide in places like Florida, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Missouri -- and some people are going to tell us that we don't have what it takes to get them out. That they're “unbeatable.” Well, those same folks told us that a Democrat couldn't win in Georgia, and we proved them wrong -- twice.
Truth is, really, we do have what it takes to show fifteen authoritarian accomplices the door. We have a network of committed supporters in all 50 states. We're bringing on a team of passionate, experienced organizers to coordinate the effort. And there are progressive candidates standing by for the opportunity to annihilate these men at the ballot box.
What we don't have yet is the money to make this all happen. We're going to need $25,000 to kickstart this effort THIS MONTH -- and we know it's going to be a huge effort to make up that gap.
That's why we're asking you right now. You made it possible to put two Democrats over the top in deep-red Georgia. You've shown your commitment to seeing Trump banished for good and transforming our country. And you know, like Stacey Abrams taught us, that an effort as big as this one has to start right now.
