Our speaker, Cindy Soffrin, from the League of Women Voters, will cover the history and dangers of gerrymandering, the methods used to manipulate redistricting, and actions that have been taken to prevent gerrymandering. She will also discuss how Arizona ended up in the crosshairs of this problem, how we sought to cure gerrymandering, and how these efforts are still under fire in the current political climate.
