A new POLITICO/Morning Consult Poll out this week makes it official: The Republican Party has left the planet.
 
Just 34% of voters have any faith in disgraced ex-president Donald Trump -- but more than 4 in 5 Republicans still approve of him.
 
And nearly 60% of the GOP still wants Trump to be a major player in the party, with over half saying they would vote for him in 2024.
