We wanted to take a minute to talk to you about our plans for 2022 and what we need to get there.
We are planning on targeting the 15 GOP senators up for re-election who voted against certifying the election and helped acquit Trump.
We're ready to hit the ground running and support Democrats across the country as they fight to unseat Trump loyalists in Congress like Lauren Boebert, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Madison Cawthorn.
And we're ready to bring progressive values to the forefront of our national conversation, restore our democracy, and combat Trump's legacy of extremism.
But we have a problem -- the GOP is already working to stop us on every front of this. They have more money in their bank accounts and rich donors lined up to protect the status quo and stop us.
To make matters worse, we're falling VERY behind on our February fundraising goal -- a goal we HAVE to hit. Otherwise, we'll be forced to amend our program budgets and support fewer candidates, reach fewer voters, and counter fewer GOP lies right when our support is desperately needed most.
In essence, we won't have the money to do much of anything if we don't hit our February goal.
We know it seems like we're constantly asking for money, but the truth is, if we don't, we'll never be able to catch up to the GOP. The only chance we have to get ahead of the GOP in terms of fundraising is RIGHT NOW, and we're sorry to say that Democrats aren't stepping up.
