A few weeks ago, we sent out a survey and asked you to share with us your
top priorities for 2021. Thanks to your responses, we were able to gain
invaluable insights on what issues Jamaal should focus on in Congress. 

We pored over thousands of responses, read your concerns, and took in your
feedback. One thing was very clear throughout: Our current systems are
just not meeting the scale and scope of the crises we're facing. 

There was an overwhelming response to act immediately to bring COVID-19
relief to our communities, cancel all federal student loan debt, and pass
a Green New Deal for our country to combat the climate crisis.

continue fighting to meet the needs of the people, we need to have his

It's been less than two months since he was sworn into Congress, but
Jamaal has already proven himself as an effective leader. Most recently,
he was able to secure a mass vaccination site for New York's 16th District
— which was the the epicenter of the COVID-19 outbreak in the state— by
working with state and federal government officials to deliver for working
families and communities. 

Jamaal's activism doesn't just span nationally – he's determined to fight
for humanity abroad and at home. Earlier this month, Jamaal wrote to the
Israeli Acting Consul General of New York, calling on the Israeli
government to fulfill its responsibility to vaccinate all Palestinians
living in occupied territories, beyond the 5,000 health care workers it
had originally promised to vaccinate.

In addition, he's joined forces with congressional powerhouses like Ayanna
Pressley, AOC, and Cori Bush to build support towards cancelling student
loan debt, and his continued advocacy and support to bring a Green New
Deal and transformative energy policy is needed now more than ever.
