The majority of Pennsylvanians favor the legalization of recreational marijuana. The time for action is now.
John,

Earlier this year, we set a crazy idea into motion: Visiting all of Pennsylvania's 67 counties to talk to people about the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Taking the time to listen to constituents outside of stuffy legislative hearings shouldn't be a novel idea, because it can provide elected officials with first-hand opinions and stories to help inform their decisions.

And that's what happened this week. After debriefing the tour with Governor Tom Wolf, we arrived at a clear conclusion: The majority of Pennsylvanians favor legalization.

So now we're calling on the General Assembly to swiftly answer the will of the people with three calls to action:

1. Legalize recreational marijuana;
2. Decriminalize minor cannabis-related offenses; and
3. Expunge past convictions of minor cannabis-related crimes.

Unfortunately, many legislators are making it clear that they have no interest in taking up these reforms. But we can fight back by harnessing the power of our grassroots movement. So I have to ask:

Thank you,

John
