Africa & Europe
- Pray for IJM Ghana as they are recruiting for several key casework positions, including investigators. A good investigator can support the rescue of dozens of children in a year — please join us in praying for the best applicants who will bring freedom to many children trapped in slavery in the fishing industry.
Latin America
- Pray for wisdom and favor for our team in El Salvador as we support the Group of Parliamentary Women in the revision of two critical laws. They are currently reviewing the Criminal Prosecution Code and the Intrafamily Violence law, and our team is advocating for changes that would increase perpetrators' accountability in violent crimes against women and ensure women's and girls' access to justice.
South Asia
- Thank you for praying for Operation Smile — the child labor rescue campaign we have been supporting with local police for the last two weeks. In total, IJM staff assisted police in rescuing 88 children from forced child labor, including in cafes, mechanic shops and forced begging. This was a huge success, and we are so grateful for the tireless work of these local authorities. Please pray for the children's aftercare and safety, and that the government could help them reunite with their parents if it's safe. Pray boldly for an end to child labor and trafficking in South Asia.
Southeast Asia
- Pray for returned trafficking survivors in Cambodia who have lost their jobs due to the pandemic. This can greatly increase vulnerability to abuse and labor trafficking, so pray for provision and protection for them, and for law enforcement to be vigilant to any opportunistic exploitation.

- Praise God for the remarkably smooth pilot of a major technology project in an African Field Office in January. This project modernizes the IT systems we use to handle the data from our Field Offices. Being able to report on how our work impacts local communities and also having insight on the global problem of slavery is critical to helping us scale our solution to end slavery and violence against those who are poor. Please pray for the next Field Office in the Asia Pacific that will be launching the system in March.
