The people have spoken — according to a new CBS poll, 83% of Americans support Biden’s $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan.
Another poll from the Center for American Progress shows strong support (over 70%) for paid sick and family leave, pandemic relief checks, small business relief, rental assistance, child care support, and more.
But the big question remains — will Republicans stand in the way of struggling families and working people? You can count on it. Congress is set to vote on Biden’s recovery plan as early as next week, and Republicans are still crying foul over the bill’s spending.
