Tell Congress:
"We have a real opportunity to expand healthcare for millions of people who need it the most. Please fight to ensure the COVID relief bill expands the Affordable Care Act, extends Medicaid to 4 million low-income people who aren’t covered now, and expands emergency Medicaid funding to enable millions of people with disabilities to live safely at home. We need you to take action urgently."

John,
Since last March, millions of people have lost their employer-sponsored health insurance—on top of the millions who already lacked insurance.
Now, we have an incredible opportunity to expand healthcare coverage to millions of people in need.
But the powerful drug companies and their army of lobbyists are already gearing up to undermine this critical pandemic relief legislation, which would help millions of people across our country get the high-quality healthcare they need.
Join CHN and the growing national coalition of healthcare advocates by sending a letter to demand Congress protect and expand healthcare in the COVID relief bill, which will be voted on next week!
Together, we can close the coverage gap to expand healthcare coverage to those most in need. Let’s ensure the COVID relief bill includes:
- Expansion of the Affordable Care Act with a subsidy boost to make healthcare plans more affordable for people on unemployment, low-income families, and middle-class families that don’t qualify for assistance now;
- Incentives for states that have not expanded Medicaid to do so, encouraging them to cover healthcare for up to 4 million low-income people who aren’t covered now;
- Expansion of emergency funding for Medicaid-provided home and community-based services to enable millions of people with disabilities and seniors to live safely at home.
We must fight to expand Medicaid in the midst of this terrible pandemic. Millions of people are struggling month after month. We can't let them fall through the cracks.

Thank you for all you do to demand accountability from our political leaders and to fight for the needs of the vulnerable, the sick and the poor.
