Take a minute to act on these critical civil liberties issues.

Friend –

We've passed Biden-Harris's first month in office. Let's check in.

After four years of racist dog whistles and divisiveness – amid an overdue reckoning on race and the pandemic – we all knew these first 100 days would be critical.

Thanks to so many advocacy groups across movements, and your activism, progress is starting. Several Trump-era policies have been reversed, from the Muslim ban to the trans military ban to the “global gag rule” on abortion. But there's clearly a lot more to do.

That's why we're continuing to push for bold measures from this administration on every civil liberties front. The list is extensive, but here are five to act on that you might've missed – each takes about a minute or less to complete:

* Take Action on LGBTQ Rights: Equal Access to Accurate Federal IDs <[link removed]>
Trans and non-binary people belong, and our IDs should reflect who we are: Biden must issue an executive order for federal agencies to ensure access to accurate federal IDs.

* Take Action on Immigrants' Rights: Relief for Separated Families Now <[link removed]>
Biden-Harris must reunite families in the U.S. forcibly separated and go further: Families deserve citizenship, resources, care, and a commitment that it will never happen again.

* Take Action on Reproductive Freedom: Safe Access to Abortion <[link removed]>
Biden-Harris must ensure safe access to medication abortion without needless barriers, starting by suspending the in-person requirement forcing patients to risk COVID-19 exposure.

* Take Action on Criminal Justice: Mass Clemency for 25,000 <[link removed]>
Biden must fight mass incarceration and the racial disparities that characterize it – starting with clemency for the most vulnerable incarcerated populations.

* Take Action on Privacy Rights: Halt Face Recognition Technology <[link removed]>
Face recognition technology is a danger to civil liberties and exacerbates systemic racism and biases. The administration should halt federal use now.

ACLU Supporter, reaching these goals in Biden-Harris's first 100 days is crucial – as are the many priorities our team is currently working with this new administration on, from racial justice to equitable COVID-19 vaccination. Your dedication in this work will make the difference.

So take the actions above and we'll be in touch soon (and often) with more ways to help.

Thank you for being with us in the fight,

The ACLU Team

P.S. Want one more quick, but meaningful way to help achieve progress in Biden-Harris's first 100 days? Forward this email along to a friend and ask them to join you in taking the five actions above. Let's keep pushing, together.
