Let me be very clear: I would not be running for president if I had to ask wealthy campaign contributors for $2,800 checks.

The reason I mention this is because we are facing a huge, and I mean huge, FEC fundraising deadline tomorrow.

Some of my opponents are traveling the country holding fancy fundraising events with the billionaire class in an attempt to out-raise us. But we have something more powerful.

Together we are funding this campaign a different way, and that is through millions of donations from working people contributing what they can to transform this country.

Today I am asking you to join them by making your first contribution to our campaign before tomorrow's FEC fundraising deadline.

Please make a contribution of of whatever you can afford right now to our campaign so that we can meet our goals for this deadline, win this election, defeat Donald Trump, and transform our country.

Here is the truth: there is a limit to the number of $2,800 checks mega-donors can give to prop up our opponents. And there are a lot more of us than there are of them.

What we proved on our last campaign – and what we must do again, especially before tomorrow's FEC deadline – is show the billionaire class that together, through small donations, we are prepared to take them on and win.
