Hey there, happy Friday! It's been another packed
here at WisDems, so we thought we'd give you an update on the top
headlines.

* Joe Biden was in Wisconsin on Tuesday! President Biden held a
town hall in Milwaukee as his first official presidential visit
because he knows that the road to keeping the White House blue in
2024 runs straight through this state.

* The Wisconsin Democratic Party endorsed Dr. Jill Underly for
Superintendent of Public Instruction. Mark your calendars! The
election is on Tuesday, April 6th and Dr. Underly is the only
candidate with experience spanning all grade levels,
socioeconomic statuses, and environments. She's the right
candidate for Wisconsin students, a champion of public schools,
and we'll be doing everything we can to get her elected. (Share
our endorsement post on Facebook if you'd like to help!

* Wisconsin hit a massive milestone: 1 million doses of COVID-19
vaccine administered! Thank you Governor Evers and healthcare
workers across the state for making this happen.

* Governor Tony Evers unveiled his 2021-2023 state budget, which
is focused on putting this pandemic behind us and going beyond
what we've had before. We are so grateful for the Governor's
hopeful voice and progressive agenda to not only have our state
bounce back but also to actualize our values & move forward.

* Ron Johnson said that the January 6th insurrection "didn't seem
like an armed insurrection." Absolutely disgraceful. We're
documenting all of Ron Johnson's statements and holding him
accountable to Wisconsin voters -- so make sure you go like and
retweet this thread

have a goal to get to 10,000 followers.)

The moment that Ron Johnson opened his mouth this week, we knew
we had to do something to ensure his words didn't sink into
obscurity. So, we're working hard here in the WisDems Digital
department on some brand new material to hold him accountable --
which should be ready to share with you next week. Keep your eyes
peeled, because I'll reach out then!

Thanks for taking the time to catch up with what's been
happening in our crucial swing state of Wisconsin; I'm so glad
you're with us in this fight.

Have a great weekend,
