Texas is witnessing the
consequences of our rapidly changing climate.

In Houston, Texans lined up to fill buckets of water from an outdoor
spigot. Why? Because millions have no running water or are under a Boil
Water Advisory.

Nearly 3 million households across Texas are still without power. That’s
why yesterday we asked you to pitch in to support five organizations
providing direct relief throughout the state — and you came through!
Together we raised $2 million for direct relief in Texas in less than 24
hours!

But our work isn’t done yet. And, that’s why today we’re coming to you
with another ask:

their next meal or to put food on the table for their families. Can you

North Texas Food Bank, Food Bank of the Rio Grande Valley, Central Texas
Food Bank, and others are all working around the clock to provide food and
resources to vulnerable Texans. But, they need our help to keep up with

Texans have been left to deal with the devastating consequences of an
unchecked climate crisis — due to a lack of preparedness and failed state
leadership, and a lack of investment in clean energy infrastructure.

While pipes burst and gas power plants continue to fail, hot showers and
hot meals have become a luxury for millions of families in Texas. We must
do everything we can to help people now.
