As millions of his constituents struggled to keep warm in freezing temperatures, Texas Senator Ted Cruz hopped on a plane to Cancun, Mexico for a vacation.

We are standing with AOC in demanding Ted Cruz resign immediately, in disgrace and embarrassment. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez helpfully reminded him that if he “had resigned back in January after helping gin up a violent insurrection that killed several people, he could've taken his vacation in peace” and made it clear that “Texans should continue to demand his resignation.”

But AOC's boldness has made her a target before, and every one of AOC's “controversial” statements has been followed by Republicans demanding AOC “apologize” to Cruz.
