Republicans can’t stand they lost both the presidential election and the Senate runoffs in Georgia, so they have already begun retaliating.
Georgia Republicans filed an election bill that would:
- Prohibit counties from holding early voting on Sundays — a high turnout day in large metro areas and for Black voters
- Create a stricter photo ID requirement for absentee ballots
- Shrink the window to request an absentee ballot and restrict the locations of secure drop boxes for ballots
It’s clear: our fundamental rights are under attack. We need Congress to step up now.

Friend,
Republicans know they cannot win unless they rig the system and suppress voters, so that is exactly what they are trying to do.
We cannot let them win.
Here at The Southern Strategy, we are working around the clock to make voting more accessible and engage disenfranchised voters, but we need Congress to join us in this fight against voter suppression.
