Hey,
I’m reaching out because I know how dedicated the grassroots members of The Collective like you are.
I wouldn’t ask for this favor if it wasn’t incredibly important: my campaign needs to raise $1.7 million by tomorrow to make the immediate investments necessary to continue building a campaign that can lift up the voices of people like you.
To be completely transparent with you, I’m only going to continue running if I see a clear path to victory. This isn’t an end-of-quarter stunt or an attempt to spin the press. When we realized we were going to come up short of the resources necessary to grow, I knew we had a choice.
So here’s why I’m emailing -- no BS: It’s now or never to continue building a campaign that can win. Will you chip in to help our campaign reach the $1.7 million we need by the end of the month?
You all know better than anyone that the results of the 2020 election will shape an entire generation. It will impact whether we have strong gun control, affordable health care, access to reproductive care, and an economy that works for everyone.
We can all agree how important it is that we have someone representing a low-income, majority-minority community still in this race.
So if we want to have a choice in this primary beyond the current top four most-resourced candidates -- then, please, consider making a donation toward our $1.7 million end-of-quarter goal before the deadline.
Thank you for all you do at The Collective to elect and empower Black leaders like me and Kamala. I know how grateful I am for your support today and every day.
Together,
Cory
