sick or family leave.

We must demand Congress pass a bill that would allow for paid time off while a
worker is out sick or taking care of a seriously ill family member --
especially during a global pandemic.

Of the 22 richest countries in the world, the United States is the only
country to not guarantee paid sick leave. To make matters worse, it is one of
only a handful of countries that doesn’t mandate paid maternity leave.

It is time for the United States to catch up with its peers and pass this
much-needed reform.
