** FEATURED EVENTS
------------------------------------------------------------
TONIGHT, Friday, February 19, 7:00pm-9:00pm ET
** Race & Culture: Diversity Conversations
------------------------------------------------------------
Citizens’ Climate Lobby will host monthly conversations about the intersectionality of race, culture and climate. This a two hour, standalone workshop led by CCL Diversity and Inclusion Director Karina Ramirez where we will tackle the challenges of race. This is not an easy workshop and will require you to look at how structural racism has impacted you directly (either positively or negatively). You will gain insights about yourself that will help build your strength as a climate activist. The first workshop, limited to 200 participants, is this Friday, Feb 19, from 7pm to 9pm ET.

** Engaging Community Leaders
(Grasstops Team)
------------------------------------------------------------
Help us connect with community leaders in DC to build support for climate action. One of the biggest impacts volunteers can make in building momentum for climate change is gaining the support of restaurants, faith groups, universities, and more. This Tuesday is CCL's basic training on the Grasstops lever, and will introduce tools and resources available to you. Join Todd Elvins, CCL's Action Coordinator for a webinar on how to best conduct outreach to grasstops leaders.

We meet twice a month -- the Monday prior to the Chapter meeting, and two weeks after that. Volunteers at all levels are welcome to join and participate!
