Maine's National Committeeman Josh Tardy Named to RNC Election Integrity
Committee

AUGUSTA, ME-- The Maine Republican Party released the following
statement regarding Maine's National Committeeman Josh Tardy being named
to the RNC Election Integrity Committee. Ensuring the integrity of Maine
and the entire nation's elections is a top priority for the Maine
Republican Party and the Republican National Committee.

"Ensuring our nation has free and fair elections is of the utmost
importance to our nation," said Chair Dr. Demi Kouzounas. "I am
incredibly pleased to learn the Maine's Republican National
Committeeman, Josh Tardy, has been named to the RNC's Election Integrity
Committee. For many years, Josh Tardy has been a premier attorney and
leading Republican voice in our state, and I am thrilled that he will be
an integral part of this committee."

"In 2020, the RNC ran its most comprehensive legal strategy to date,
spending more than $30 million on election protection efforts in
battleground states across the country, including right here in Maine,
but our work is far from over," said RNC Committeeman Josh Tardy.
"Election integrity is one of the most critical issues we face as a
country and the RNC is addressing these concerns by creating this
critical new committee. From working with state parties and stakeholders
to address issues in their respective states, to protecting against
unprecedented attempts to change election laws, we are actively working
to ensure Americans have confidence in our elections. I am honored to be
named to this committee and look forward to bringing my experience
fighting for free and fair elections in Maine to help improve election
security in other states."
