The GOP is going back to one of their oldest anti-democratic strategies: gerrymandering their way to victory.
During a press conference in which he unveiled the National Republican Campaign Committee's 2022 strategy, the NRCC's chairman proclaimed the GOP would “win redistricting,” according to Roll Call.
They passed countless voter suppression laws. They kept peddling the lie that the 2020 presidential election results were fraudulent. Now, as we head into redistricting battles, the GOP is shamelessly touting gerrymandering as both their oldest and latest tool of choice to suppress the will of voters across the country.

Even in the face of rampant voter suppression and the GOP's anti-democratic attacks, we fought back. In November, voters turned out in droves across the country to win back the White House. Then, we did it again in January to reclaim the Senate.
The GOP is trying to gerrymander us out of existence -- but we won't let them. Our country is only growing more diverse. Manipulating maps will not silence our voices.
We know you've already done so much for our movement, but we need you to stay in this fight with us. The GOP is going to quickly erode our democracy -- even faster than they already are -- and retake control of the House if we let them get away with their newly-released strategy.
