John,

This week, Winter Storm Uri bought historic levels of snow and ice to southern states that simply aren’t accustomed to these extreme temperatures.

Texas has been particularly hard hit, and as a result, millions of people lost their power, heat, and water over the past few days. Families are dealing with burst pipes and gas leaks. Grocery stores are low on food and supplies. People are freezing in their homes, and seniors and the homeless are more vulnerable than ever before.

It’s bad enough that our country continues to face the ongoing health and economic impacts of the COVID-19 crisis — now, countless Texans are faced with the results of a dangerous weather emergency and need our help. More than 350,000 households are still without power, and many more are struggling in the aftermath.

To provide food, assistance to seniors, and help to the homeless in Texas during this crisis, please consider splitting a charitable donation between Family Eldercare, Central Texas Foodbank, ECHO, The Bridge Homeless Recovery Center, Houston Food Bank, and Feeding Texas today.

100% of your donation will go to these organizations.

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

Each of these organizations is dedicated to helping the most vulnerable every day, and they’re currently working hard to provide emergency assistance to those impacted by this natural disaster.

Thank you for anything you’re able to contribute to help Texans in their time of need.
