Act like you've got it
Stay home to save lives

The best way to limit the spread of coronavirus is to act like you've got it and stay at home as much as possible.

You should only be travelling for essential purposes and exercise. By making unnecessary journeys you could be unknowingly spreading the virus.

When travelling on public transport it is crucial you wear a face covering at all times. Try to walk or cycle instead where possible, especially for local journeys.

Nottingham City Councils Linkbus network provides important connections to residents living or working in areas where commercial bus routes are not viable.

The council is facing very serious budget challenges, and is having to make some extremely difficult decisions on the services we provide. This includes a proposal to reduce funding for our Linkbus services.

*Temporary traffic signals will be installed, to be in place until June, while work is carried out to install new permanent signals. Temporary pedestrian crossings will be provided.

Suspension of parking along Cobden Street to Stanfield Street junction on both sides due to demolition and redevelopment of old martial arts centre.

Road closure from the junction of Tom Blower Close to the dead end due to new drainage and road widening works.

*Monday 18 January - Friday 5 March: Elford Rise (Sneinton)*
Road closure for gas mains replacement.

*Monday 8 February - Friday 26 February: Abbotsford Drive (St Anns)*
Three-way lights opposite no.277 for new water connection.

Two and three way lights at the junctions with Bilborough Road and Hanslope Road while tracking is laid for fibre cable in the footway and carriageway.

Closure of lane 1 then closure of lane 2 in both directions opposite Beechdale Library site to lay tracking for fibre cable in the footway and carriageway.

Closure of bus lanes in both directions due to reinforcement scheme.

*Monday 15 February - Sunday 21 February: Mansfield Road (city cnetre)*
Lane closures near to the Rose of England Public House due to works for a new combined sewer connection.

Three-way lights at the junction with Glaisdale Drive East for new fibre connection works.

Lane closure at the junction with Hawton Crescent to replace a BT telegraph pole.

Lane closure at no.257 for new gas connection.

Three-way lights at the junction with Coventry Road to lay new telecom ducting in the carriageway.

Lane closure at the junction with Duke Street to lay new BT ducting.

Some carriageway narrowing at the junction of Derby Road.

Road closure will be in place at the junction of Derby Road.

Two-way signals in operation at the junction with Derby Road outside QMC.
