Friend,
Did you see Kevin’s email the other day? Read it below, and then I hope you’ll chip in $5 today to help my team meet our end-of-quarter goal.

There’s a lot we’re working to get done here in Richmond: create new jobs, support affordable housing development, strengthen our public schools, and more. On top of that, I’ve been fending off attacks from the NRA and working hard to support Virginia State Senate and House of Delegates candidates so that we can flip our state blue in November.
I’m happy to do the work, because I want Richmond to be the best city it can be for everyone.
But I also need the resources necessary to be able to do my job -- and that means hitting our $7,000 fundraising goal before tomorrow at midnight. Can you help out and chip in $5?

Hey y'all,
I want to be honest: we’re worried that we may not hit our next fundraising goal before Monday at midnight.
Mayor Levar Stoney has grassroots support from all across Richmond and here at One Richmond, we’re so appreciative of that. But others, like some members of the Virginia General Assembly, have extreme special interest groups like the NRA lining their pockets. Mayor Stoney will never accept money from a gun interest lobbying group like that -- so we’re counting on our supporters.
Mayor Stoney is working for Richmond residents, not special interest groups like the NRA. But he can’t do it alone -- will you pitch in $5 or more right now before our end-of-quarter deadline on Monday?

Mayor Stoney is proud to work toward One Richmond, a city that works for everyone -- not the NRA. Not all elected officials in Virginia can say the same, which is why it’s so important that we help Mayor Stoney keep fighting.
Just a few weeks ago, the NRA tried to attack Mayor Stoney and say that his leadership was “failing” because he decided to set an example of what common-sense gun regulations can look like. We know they’ll be watching our campaign finance report to see how we do this month -- so we need to pick up the pace.
Chip in $5 or more to Mayor Stoney and One Richmond today!
