Join us next week for a special ASI webinar

Good afternoon,

Instead of our regularly scheduled one-topic webinar, we wanted to bring you something special next week.

Please join us on Tuesday 23rd February at 6pm GMT for the first ever ASK the ASI session: an hour-long webinar where you can ask our thoughts on current events, policy topics, research, or more, and discuss what's on your mind, too. You can submit your questions in advance or live as we go.

We've missed connecting directly with you and are really looking forward to an exciting, illuminating, and fun hour. We hope you are too! Register here now ([link removed]) .

------------------------------------------------------------

2020 and 2021 have put up barriers between us all, removing our ability to engage on a personal level, and making us feel disconnected.

That is why we want to bring forward a new type of ASI webinar. One where you talk with us, instead of us talking at you. Where we discuss what’s been going on in the world and give our real, honest thoughts. Where you ask us whatever questions are on your mind. Whether it’s our opinion on a certain policy, what we think of the great minds in politics and economics, our past or future research, or what we enjoy most about working at the ASI, we’d love to share it all with you.

We hope that this ASK the ASI session can become a regular part of our output, a supplement for all the missed mingling over free wine in the ASI offices. A way to get our thoughts and opinions, while you share what’s on your mind as well.

So if you’ve ever wanted to pick the brains behind the ASI, now is your chance. Feel free to submit questions in advance when you register, or submit them live.

Featuring:

Matt Kilcoyne, Deputy Director
Daniel Pryor, Head of Programmes
Morgan Schondelmeier, Head of External Affairs
John Macdonald, Head of Government Affairs

We need your support...
Let us be frank: these are difficult times with uncertain outcomes. The ASI's work is vital to get us through and rebuild a free and prosperous society on the other side. The work does not stop. More than ever, we need your moral and financial support.
