An exciting announcement from Pennsylvania’s first out Black state Representative, Malcolm Kenyatta: he’s running for the U.S. Senate. Kenyatta would make history as America’s first out Black Senator!

Pennsylvania’s first out state legislator, Brian Sims, also announced his plans to run for Lieutenant Governor. He would be the first out lieutenant governor of a U.S. state and just the second in U.S. history (shout out to Guam Lt. Gov. Josh Tenorio)!

Rhode Island is searching for a new lieutenant governor, and we have a recommendation: nominate state Senator Donna Nesselbush to the post! Nesselbush would make history as the first openly LGBTQ person to ever serve in a statewide position in Rhode Island.
